Kokum and Shea Butter are packed with anti-oxidants, anti-inflammatories, and anti-aging properties.
Shea Butter is very effective in reducing dark spots, stretch marks, wrinkles, and other blemishes, by stimulating the production of collagen in the skin. While shea butter is a very highly emollient moisturizer, and is great for those who experience extreme dryness in their skin, it is also great for those with acne prone skin. Shea butter controls and balances oil production, while healing broken skin.
Kokum Butter shares many similarities with shea butter, and is very effective when it comes to restoring the skin’s elasticity, and suppleness.
Tamanu is a great herb for healing minor injuries, such as razor burn, acne, sunburn, and small cuts. Because it can stimulate collagen production, it is also great for reducing scars, and other blemishes.
Coconut Oil, while being added for its natural preservative properties, is also great for dry skin, as it strengthens the skin barrier. It also helps fight acne-causing bacteria!
Neem is very effective in treating oily, acne prone skin as it is able to control oil production, while fighting acne-causing bacteria. It is also great at hydrating, and reversing aging!
Rosehip is very well known for its brightening, and scar/hyperpigmentation reducing properties. Aside from this, it is a great healing, and protective herb.
Thyme is another herb that is very beneficial for those with acne prone skin. Thyme is very effective in controlling sebum production, fighting acne-causing bacteria, and smoothing textured skin.
